Arthur Worsley with partner “Charlie Brown”, 1960s TV appearance.
Not only did British ventriloquist Arthur Worsley (1920-2001) remained completely silent and motionless during performance, but he allowed his Charlie Brown figure to abuse him verbally in multiple ways, thus demonstrating Worsley’s ability to yell at himself without moving his lips at all, and remarkable prowess with difficult letters like b and p. Note the alliteration on letter m (another difficult letter for a ventriloquist) in this TV appearance.
